ALPHA is Coming to St. Stephens

Council #2018 Blog * Written by ksetterholm

Knights, their spouses, and friends are encouraged to attend the weekly ALPHA course hosted by St. Stephen’s Faith Formation.  The course will take place on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 starting September 26th, and running to December 19.  Each session will begin with a meal followed by a lesson and finish with facilitator led small groups.   Participants do not need to attend every session.  For more information, please contact Faith Formation Director, Maredith Toweh, at 763-712-7439 or mtoweh@ststephenchurch.org .

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Typically run over eleven weeks, each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

Alpha follows a structure set over 11 sessions. It works best when it is run two or three times a year. We recommend that you end each Alpha with a party/Alpha Celebration, where guests can invite their friends who might be interested in attending the next Alpha.
